We wanted to take a moment to thank the true inventor of our industry.\u00a0 Synergy Lighting recognizes that it was because of Thomas Alva Edison, that more jobs were created than by any President, World Leader, Congressman, or Business Owner in U.S. History.<\/p>\n

On Forward And Into the Night<\/h2>\n

One day while playing around in my workshop\u2026\"Thomas<\/a>
\nI played around with some patents I bought\u2026.
\nI experimented with plants and rubber\u2026.
\nBut those experiments soon started to blubber..<\/p>\n

I tried more times with palms and bamboo\u2026
\nThen all of a sudden, an idea I possibly knew\u2026
\nWhy maybe with tungsten I could surely play\u2026
\nIf this works, then what would everyone say\u2026<\/p>\n

To make this it must be formed in a vacuum tube\u2026
\nAttach it to wires, and a base held with glue\u2026
\nI\u2019ll attach a few leads and give it some power\u2026
\nThen my creation came to life like a beautiful flower\u2026<\/p>\n

This thing of mine encased in all glass\u2026.
\nIt lit up the night and I could see out into the grass\u2026
\nIts shape was arbitrary but worked very well\u2026
\nSo I called for Mina, so there was someone to tell..<\/p>\n

She smiled with joy and a tearful laugh\u2026
\nWith one of those I could see in my bath\u2026\"Incandescent<\/a>
\nThat\u2019s right my dear, the day of candles is done\u2026
\nWhy its almost as if I have replicated the sun\u2026<\/p>\n

Its time to get busy and make more of these\u2026
\nLets build a factory and fill it with worker bees..
\nEvery home and business around should want a few\u2026
\nImagine the possibilities of what it could do\u2026<\/p>\n

We can now enjoy ourselves and travel at night\u2026
\nDrive around Fords Model A, with a front head light\u2026
\nThe days of night fear will definitely come to pass\u2026
\nNow lets make a battery so these things can last\u2026<\/p>\n

As people began to know and enjoy incandescent light\u2026
\nThings around the world started to seem all right\u2026
\nJobs were created and factories pushed on till late\u2026
\nRevolution and industry were changed after this date\u2026<\/p>\n
