2-Pin CFL and Incandescent applications.\u00a0 Both\u00a0incandescent as well as magnetic ballast operated compact fluorescent lamps are being phased out, this has become a serious issue.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/synergylightingusa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/LED-REPLACEMENT-FOR-CFL.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5032\" title=\"LED REPLACEMENT FOR CFL\" src=\"http:\/\/synergylightingusa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/LED-REPLACEMENT-FOR-CFL.png\" alt=\"LED REPLACEMENT FOR CFL\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Currently on the market place there are many LED retrofit products such as the plug in lamp pictured here.\u00a0 These products unfortunately have limited use as they are restricted by base types, and can only fit into limited fixture types.\u00a0 Once the right lamp is selected for the type fixture, the lamp relies on typically old worn out sockets which often make for poor electrical connections.\u00a0 As well, these type LED replacement lamps generate a lot of heat which can melt sockets, or pose a risk of fire.\u00a0 Lastly, where dimming is a requirement, this type LED has no options, and therefore
